The 2017 National Reuse Contest
The 2017 National Reuse Contest is underway! If you have recently finished a project using reused building materials, or plan to complete a project anytime this year, submit it to your local participating store for a chance to win a prize! The contest is open from January 1 through October 31, 2017
Entries are accepted in two categories: Construction/Remodeling and Art/Furniture.
Here's how it works: Entrants submit their project to local stores that are participating in the TRP National Reuse Contest. Each participating store will hold its own contest and all store winners will automatically be entered in the national contest for a chance to win additional prizes.
TRP selects national first, second, and third place winners in each category from among the local winners. The national winners are awarded gift cards for discount coupons redeemable for merchandise at their sponsoring stores -- $1000, $500 or $250 for first, second and third place, respectively. Plus, a TRP representative visits both first-prize winners to conduct interviews and treat each victor to dinner at a top local restaurant. The sponsoring store manager is invited to join the celebration, and local media are urged to cover the event.
Local winners will be announced no later than November 30, 2017. National winners will be named no later than January 15, 2018.
